My SW Rare Pairs Letter

Dear author,

Thank you so much for writing for me! I am sure that anything you come up with will be wonderful! The purpose of this letter is to provide some ideas and, hopefully, encourage a plot bunny to pop up and head off. But if nothing here is helpful, feel free to run with your own idea, I’m sure that anything you’ll write for me will be wonderful! :D However, please, I just ask you don't include my do-not-wants.


Do Not Want:
- Friend or lover betrayal (unless it's canon)
- cheating
- break-up fic about my requested ships
- gen or pre-slash about my requested ships (in the event you wonder, if they eventually confess feelings and kiss, it isn't pre-slash to me)
- permanent character death (I love death fix-its and Peggy Sues though)
- fic ending with any of these: one-sided or unresolved feelings, completely hopeless mood, bad end.


I Do Love: any kind of shippy fic about my pairings, though especially first times. ♥ I’m also a sucker for slow burn and all the hurt/comfort scenarios, especially when the character or characters are put through the wringer! I love when sexy-times happen as misguided means of coping with the hurt, of the psychological kind especially, like past torture or non-con for example. I enjoy trope-based fics, canon compliant fics, divergent canon AUs, and also space battles, space travel, time travel, time loops and paradoxes, stuck on planets or on space somewhere, like on an abandoned base or a broken ship, going on a mission, undercover missions, posing as Imperials, being Imperials, mission or job succesful or gone wrong and what ensues, astrophysics stuff, are all welcome themes, tropes, details. :D

I'd prefer a timeline set during, or close to, the time frame of the Original Trilogy, like for example a few months or one-two years earlier, during OT, shortly after, or a couple of years later, something like that, I'm just fond of the OT so much! Unless you decide to go completely AU, that is also welcome, but please, if you do, make it still set in space?

(Bear with me if I miss any improper name or term spelling due to my autocorrect. Like, please don't mind if you see any London or Lobos and so on, I'll try to catch them but in the event I miss any... /o\ )

Like, for example Bodhi survives, Lando never lose Bespin, or the Rebels lose to the Empire, or win differently -- but feel free to ignore. A only-romance-focused Peggy sue would be great, for instance. :))

I suppose it is pretty clear already that Lando is my favorite, hands down! :D I just love him, with his fancy clothes and awesome cape and his suave manners and smooth talking, while being the responsible guy as the Baron Regent of Cloud City or of an entire planet if you want, or while gallivanting around the galaxy and smuggling or in mission for the Rebellion.

He is also my favorite woobie character in Star Wars, if you're in the mood for dark fic or noncon or hurt/comfort featuring him hurt or close to the death (but surviving), getting tortured, or anything else like that, feel free to write any of that. :D Other angsty options could be Lando feeling miserable and guilt stricken for his past deeds and trying to make amends, aching to be redeemed and to fix his messes, and maybe the other guy rescuing his ass or distracting him from the pain (for example maybe the other guy needs him or his protection or help too), all of that any other scenarios are all totally welcome.

I love slash fanwork of any rating and I'd be especially excited with fic or vid starring rare Lando ships and cool crossover ships featuring him. :D



My requested ships:

◾Lando/Lobot (fic)

I love that they handle Bespin together in OT, Lando is the face of Bespin and Lobot his right-arm guy handling everything in the background. Bespin was Lando's attempt to be a legitimate business man instead of a crooked one, the Empire took that away from him, and he also sold his old friend Han to the Empire to keep his people safe. A redemption story that also gets Lando and Lobot together would be a nice option.

If you're familiar with it, I'd be also cool with backstory (or fix-it fic) based on Lando great comics miniseries, it also had tragic and doomed Lando/Lobot and got me so invested in Lobot! I’d love a fix-it story set on Bespin or post-OT where Lando while working alongside with Leia or other heroes finds a fix for Lobot’s problem, or where Lobot is fine again and him and Lando get together.

But in truth anything would be great for this pair, maybe Lando is in trouble or hurt somewhere and Lobot organizes a rescue, or other hurt/comfort situation that sparkle things between them or something and sets them to get together. Or maybe a pre-OT or post-OT story where they get married on Bespin or after their reunion following the Rebellion’s victory. Or any other get (back?) together story that you wish to write about these two for me. :)



◾Lando/Luke/Bodhi (fic)

I think that this ship is just adorable, so I couldn't not request it, I'd love to read anything about them getting together (or being together, but with some degree of relationship growth or exploration, if you prefer)! It isn't important how they meet, but if you need some suggestions I'll list a few scenarios that I could think of, but feel free to write a different one if you want. Of course all my general prompts are also good!

For instance, what if Lando is surveying the destruction site for interesting tech or spare parts and he finds a survived Bodhi after Rogue One instead? Or else, about Bodhi, it could be a fix-it post-Rogue One where he (and others if you want) is alive somehow. Or a canon divergent AU where RO events happened differently/Bodhi wasn’t an involved party at the final showdown, and later he seeks refuge on Bespin instead. Maybe Bodhi is still on Bespin when Han with his friends arrives, and Bodhi helps to organize the evac when the Empire seizes Bespin? I can picture Lando trying to do something good, helping Bodhi first, then Luke, to make up for all the wrong he's done to the people he loves. Post OT Luke might gotten strong enough in the Force to gain the ability to feel people’s emotions, so what if he can sense how tortured Lando is about parts of his past? Or it could be a complete AU, where it is Luke and Bodhi to meet each other first, and then rescuing Lando or something.



◾Lando/Bor Gullet (fic)

Basically dark fic, please. :D Or, if you prefer, a recovery fic ensuing the Lando/Bor Gullet event would be nice too; feel free to plunge into the angst (hurt!Lando ♥), or to write something more hopeful. Feel free to ignore the DNWs on top for this request, my DNWs specific for this request are:
- permanent character death (I love death fix-its and Peggy Sues though)
- fic ending with completely hopeless mood / bad end.



◾Lando/Darth Vader (fic)

I’d love dark fic with this ship, where for reasons Vader tortures Lando this time around, and that could include sexual torture or noncon if you want. Alternatively (or in addition to the previous scenario), I’d be really interested to the scenario where Vader has Lando captured and brainwashed him into believing to be a loyal member of the Empire and Vader’s subordinate/right-hand man. Or his personal plaything if you wish. :D Maybe Lando’s friends/partner/lover try to rescue him?Feel free to ignore the DNWs on top for this request, my DNWs specific for this request are:

◾Lando Calrissian/Kyle Kierken (Dark Matter TV) (fic or vid)

Okay, I simply adore the idea of this ship for reasons that I can't even put my finger on yet, except from the basic thing of one of them being or having been a smuggler and generally working against the Empire when he joins the Rebellion, and the other being integral part of the authority and trying to keep the space in order while also being unaware that his bosses are corrupted and a bigger menace than the people he's trying to arrest. Opposites sides, conflict seems inevitable, but I'm hopeful for a loving resolution. :p Or maybe this is set after the Original Trilogy and Lando is now straight and he got talked into taking part in the Republic government, so they are on the same side and living in the same area? Maybe Kierken is in charge of keeping Lando and his people safe? Or Kierken is an appointed guard, or the guy who capture a in-hiding-Lando and brings him (or does he?) to Vader? Anyway, getting anything at all about this ship would be wonderful already! But I hope my prompts above help with finding a plot for these two to be together. Of course, if you have a different idea feel free to run with it. :D

Vid Likes: I love many kind of vids, action-focused, or romance or mistery or anything else that the canon scenes would inspire, but I’d prefer if the characters of my ship would get to be the stars of the vid. ◾Lando Calrissian/Three | Marcus Boon (Dark Matter TV) (fic or vid)

These sound so cool together! One smooth the other rough, both of them burdened with the guilt of allowing or cause the people they love to get hurt as direct consequence of their actions, both of them having been criminals that are now trying to make things right (or better at the very least) and want to keep the people they love safe.

Some options that come to my mind could be Three as a hired mercenary working for Lando maybe before Bespin or gets talked into taking part in the Republic government after the Original Trilogy; or he’s his personal body guard while Lando is on Bespin; or he’s as Lando’s partner on covert operations while Lando is among the Rebels. What if Lobot/Leia is the one hiring him, and Lando is unsure at first, but then they bond? Or Three and Lando could be smugglers or thieves partners, impromptu, or following previous agreement? Or maybe they meet each other in some prison and decide to trust each other in order to escape from there... Feel free to write anything about them inspired on my prompts from the list on the top section of my letter, or of course if you have a different idea feel free to run with it. :D

What if Lobot/Leia is the one hiring him, and Lando is unsure at first, but then they bond? I’d love to see Slade treat Lando as a little brother like he did with Oliver, and maybe falling for his smooth talking and keen mind? Lando and Slade meet each other while stranded somewhere together? ◾Lando/Leonard Snart or Mick Rory (Legends of Tomorrow) (fic or vid)

I'd love to read anything about either of these ships! Snart or Mick as space pirates or smugglers and working with Lando or being business rivals; or else they went straight and now are helping the Rebels to stop the Emperor, and that's when Lando meet either of them? Or maybe they meet each other in some prison and decide to trust each other in order to escape from there... Any option would be cool!
