Dear Author,

Thank you so much for writing for me! I am sure that anything you come up with will be wonderful! I don’t have many 'dislikes' and you are free to include pretty much anything you need in order to tell the story the way you like it. This said, the purpose of this letter is to provide some ideas and, hopefully, encourage a plot bunny to pop up and head off. But if nothing in this letter is helpful, feel free to run with your own idea. However, please, don't include my do-not-wants.

My favorite takes of soulbonds/soulmates tropes are: all the bonds are permanent, bonds require bondmates' forced proximity to feel fine, denial of feelings and later learning to cope/accept they are bond mates and making the best of their situation, or learning at a later point that when they let themselves enjoy it and put aside embarrassment or pride or whatever, it is totally worth it. Many of my favorite ships have dysfunctional dynamics after all.


One/Three: I really loved the interaction between Three and One throughout season 1; they would make a nice dysfunctional couple, and I bet they would have nice hate-sex too, if only because it would allow them to hide their affection for each other, being too stubborn and proud to get past their frenemies and rivalry setting. I'd love a story where they get forced to voice (or show) their fondness for each other and to out the sexual (and romantic?) tension finally. Though, any kind of get together fic would be absolutely wonderful (though I'm betting neither of them would call what they have as being together :) )! If your story is set in season two, please fix One's death? Maybe it could be interesting for the Raza crew to believe he died and mourn, and then he turns up as still alive? I'd love to read Three's thoughts process, and the we-meet-again encounter, and how they get to eventually fuck from there. But I don't mind to read any other plans you have in store for this ship. :)

Three/Four: I like that Four was the first guy Three felt he could trust with secrets, and also is always the one guy Three would go to whenever he needs an accomplice or an ally for grey or bad deeds. :) But IMO, one of the most shippy moments about this pairing was when Three was still grieving about Sarah’s death and refusing to enjoy some R&R, and Four was the one volunteering to go and talk to him. I’d love first time about this pairing, maybe with Four calling the shots and Three complaining but loving to comply. For this request especially, I’d rather for you to fix the season 2 ending & cliff-hanger (please no of Four betraying the Raza crew, nor Three and/or the others possibly being dead), or maybe set the fic anywhere in the series before that?

Three/Six: I also loved how Six and Three's relationship changed through the season 2, Three having it in for Six due to Six's betrayal, Six playing it cool and being patient about showing that he has no intention to betray them ever again. The tension between the two of them does little to hide the care they have for each other, regardless of their past words and deeds. If you ask me, it feels a lot like UST to me, so I'd love any story taking the UST and bringing them to the point of Resolving the Sexual (and romantic?) Tension. :D Then there's the Six-saves-Three's-life trend that I'd be thrilled to see carried on in fanfic too, if writing hurt/comfort is more your thing! I don't mind different plot ideas either for these two, all I really wish is to get to read about them finally confessing feelings/kissing/fucking, it's up to you. :)

One/Three/Four: Around the end of Season 1 there was a lot of camaraderie uniting these three (ruined by the betrayal plot, sadly), I’m totally up for a fic exploring more of that, they enjoying the R&R together, or going together in a mission, being badass and completing the job as a well-oiled, efficient machine, then later getting drunk post-mission together, that maybe ends with drunk sex after would be totally cool! I don't mind different plot ideas either for these two, all I really wish is to get to read about them finally confessing feelings/kissing/fucking, it's up to you. :)


If there's smut, I have a slight preference for Three bottoming, but I don't mind other configurations.

Or are in a fist fight in the mess hall, or a space station, together with everybody else? Or, where are they?

Soulbonded By Saving A Life: they do that a lot, but maybe it’s the first time that it counts, or maybe it’s a matter of compatibility, they have no say in what fate decide for them...

Soulmate's Kiss Can Cure All Wounds: I love it when there’s denial of feelings to complicate the things (or it’s one or both characters refusing to consider one another soulmates, in this case). Maybe CPR causes unexpected healing and there’s no way to deny the evidence anymore? Or maybe one character is dying for severe injuries and their unwilling soulmate is aware that they can save them and has to get over it and kiss them? What happens after?

Soulmate's Touch Can Turn Dead Soulmate Back Alive but at a Price: What’s the price? A) Do they need to never be too far away to each other or else soulmate dies again/both die/both get ill and start healing as soon as they get close again or touch each other? Or maybe, the price being that the alive soulmate becomes blind when they turn their soulmate alive again? Or maybe, their soulmate is alive but his body stays death (like a vampire, or a mentally-coherent zombie?)

Soulmates Die If They Don't Have Sex: My take of the tag is, soulmates die if they don't have REGULAR sex after they have found each other. Especially delightful if there's denial of feelings (or of sexuality) going on on either or both parties. :) I can’t help to think that Three would say that he’d rather to die than have sex with One, if in season 1, or Six, if in season 2, while he’d be secretly wishing to find an excuse to make sex anyway without admitting that he actually want the sex. Probably One would share the feeling. :) I’d be thrilled with a story featuring something around these lines, but I’m cool if you have a different story idea.

Soulmates Feel Each Other's Pain and Pleasure: This can have naughty takes. For instance, they finding to be soulmates when one gets tortured, their capturers are unaware, or try to take advantage of it? What happens after? Or else, one being in pain and the other one going and finding him to relieve the pain? One of them being aware when the other is pleasuring himself surprise? The other one doing that on purpose to embarrass their soulmate? Or it can be any other idea, I don't mind.

Their Soulmate Doesn't Believe in Soulmates: I thought of Three again as the misbeliever (maybe part of it being that he was disapponted that Sarah wasn’t his soulmate instead?), but plot or/and his soulmate prove him wrong eventually. I’m cool with a different plot idea too. Happy ending please.

Waking Up Soulbonded After a Night Out: the soulbond version of wake up married trope, I'd love that, especially if there are complications before the happy/hopeful ending (characters freaking out, being in denial about their sexuality or feelings, external to the ship complications, etc.).

I love everyone and everything of this cartoon, though John and Wally's friendship was arguably my favorite element of this cartoon and I completely love each and every fic centered on either or both them. Some optional story ideas: I'd welcome any fic exploring friendship while it changes to a romantic one. Maybe both stranded somewhere else, and needing to stick together to watch each other's back? A story where they need to share one bunk, snuggle for warmth, maybe something like snowed in in a place where their powers don't work? Or else maybe a road trip? A mission on another planet/alternate reality? A diplomatic mission where a misunderstanding sets them to have marry each other to avoid diplomatic disaster? What if they're sent to a maximum security prison for the most dangerous criminals of the quadrant? Scenario where they share a prison cell, they protect each other, they take comfort in being still together? Apocalypse survival story where they take comfort the other is there with them too? Undercover as couple, or fake boyfriends turns real?

What if this is how he realize to have a soulmate (maybe soulmates are rare?) and wants to find who is them (or already has a inkling?)

I adore this show and I'm completely fond of all the main characters, and many of the guest starring characters too. Time travel stories are always up my alley and even if the way it's done here doesn't really make sense (lol) it doesn't make me stop loving this show. :D That said, the team interactions and bonding, especially of Ray, Mick and Leonard's, are my very favorite part of the show, though the crackiness is a close second.


Ray/Mick: I loved when Ray won over Mick's respect and loyalty and set in motion the beginning of their tentative friendship despite them being two opposite kinds of persons with such different views on life. Also, the season 1 scene where they were in the gulag cell together, felt so intimate and their bonding was so shippy! I also totally love how far they went from there, and Mick finding Ray in the car all suited up to help him with the robbery around the end of the season, and on the Zombie episode Mick asking Ray to save him and Ray promising he would, are only some of my favorite shippy moments for this pairing! (There are too many to quote them all.)
I'd love any story that sticks closely to the canon, bringing only the slash/soulbond/soulmate in, like for example Ray slightly misunderstanding Mick's suggestion to become his partner and visiting Mick's room at night. ;D But I'd love any story that diverged from canon too, like ... IDK, maybe Ray's the one getting stranded and getting saved-captured by the Time Masters to be brainwashed and become Chronos? How could the slash/bond happen in this case? Maybe Mick would be intrigued with a Ray like this, as a killing machine? Would Mick secretly be worried for Ray and missing him? Maybe wanting to bring Ray back and fix him? Having fun or shenanigans, or both, while executing a robbery or a mission together brings the sexy times? More of Mick teaching Ray to be his partner in crime? Gift giving, especially if it's something unusual being gifted (hah! It happened in canon now! Someone at DC has read one of my old letters ;) ). Of course any other scenario would be great!

Ray/Mick/Leonard: About Mick and Leonard, I love that their strong friendship goes way back, Mick saved Leonard's life and doing so he accidentally gained a loyal friend for life, and it's featured as such a special thing on more than an occasion regardless their differences! I really dig this kind of thing. Then, Leonard acting (with Mick) annoyed/jealous of Ray&Mick on more than one occasion was funny and intriguing! And a perfect possible set up to a threesome, if you ask me. :D "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer", what if he perceives Ray as a rival (= enemy) so in order to keep Mick, Leonard decides to apply this axiom to the letter, but instead he falls for Ray too? I love that while being fundamentally different Mick and Leonard also got a common background a long history together, so it's clearly Ray the odd element of the trio, that make me wish reading about how Ray is able to get under their skin and being included, not just for a robbery but especially as romantic partner. <3 I wish the show had given us more shippy scenes with the three of them together, I can only recall (fondly) the episode where the three of them have to carry out a robbery together. That would be one reason for more fanfic to exist featuring this threesome that also include memorable slashy moments.

Sharing your Soulmate with Non-Soulmate(s): I thought of it for my threesome request, where two of them are soulmates and decide to have a threeway relationship regardless.

New Soulmate After A Soulmate's Death: For my Mick/Ray ship, where Leonard was Mick's soulmate, then he dies to save them all and Mick is surprised that he has a new soulmate. Does he want to find who he/she is? Does Ray want to reveal Mick he is his soulmate right away?

Their Soulmate Doesn't Believe in Soulmates: I thought of Mick as the want-to-be-a-misbeliever, though I don't mind at all the reverse, especially if you have something specific in mind. Maybe part of the reason for not believe in soulmates is that he thought that if he were to have a soulmate, it should be Snart, or a bad-ass lady, and instead it turns out to be Ray of all people. Or because he hates himself too much to believe that he deserves a soulmate, but plot or/and his soulmate prove him wrong eventually. If you feel like, I’d love slow burn, but of course feel free to ignore. I’m cool with different plot ideas too.

I Do Love (general): any kind of shippy fic about my pairings, though especially first times. ♥ I’m also a sucker for slow burn and all the hurt/comfort scenarios, especially when the character is (or both them are) put through the wringer! I love when sexy-times happen as a misguided means of coping with the hurt, of the psychological kind especially, like past torture or non-con for example. I enjoy canon compliant fic as well as divergent canon AUs. For superhero canons I also like non-powered AUs where they still have their usual jobs (or anything that canon suggested they could have done) but no second superhero life, and they get to know each other and eventually get together in this kind of context.

My favorite takes of soulbonds/soulmates tropes are: all the bonds are permanent, bonds require bondmates' forced proximity to feel fine, denial of feelings and later learning to cope/accept they are bond mates and making the best of their situation, or learning at a later point that when they let themselves enjoy it and put aside embarrassment or pride or whatever, it is totally worth it. Many of my favorite ships have dysfunctional dynamics after all.


Barry/Hal, John/WallyI adore Hal/Barry; their friendship is one of my favorite things from comics and what led me to read many of the titles I read. I'd love if they were to become the “Ray and Hank” of their own universe, and that’s what fanfic is for, isn't it? In the case of John/Wally, I started shipping them with the cartoon, I think? It's when I fell in love with the ship anyway. Between disappearings from the timeline or getting only marginal roles in relevant actions, it never was easy to be a fan of this ship or the individual characters; still, from time to time we get nice little moments like this one, that I adore and remind me of the reasons I ship them all over again.

I'd like original backstory or any retconned canon, write whatever canon you feel more comfortable with, a missing scene, or a crossover where a character from one version gets stranded forever in the universe of the other character, or a mash-up of canons. Any option will make me happy, I'm quite open. Some things I love about them off the top of my head are: snarkiness, banter, shenanigans, attuned and dysfunctional dynamics, co-dependency, total trust, and loyalty. I'd like a first time with happy ending for either pairing the most, but I'm cool with established relationship or, IDK, fuckbuddies to lovers? If you have other ideas for them I'm open to it.

If there's smut, I'm OK with any bottom/top configuration for these pairings.

Julian/Eddie: this ship may be impossible to happen, canon-wise, with Julian arriving after Eddie’s death, but who cares! As I've already said somewhere else in this letter, this is why fanfic exists, right? I steadfastly believe that they'd be absolutely great as a pairing, with Julian being thoughtlessly, honestly blunt verging on rude on most occasions. And then we have Eddie, who's nice, honest, the sweetest guy ever. I love pairings where the partners have contrasting, sometimes opposite personalities, and I think the two of them together would be a perfect complement to each other in some respects. With Eddie maybe helping Julian with his lack of diplomacy and maybe Julian helping Eddie to bring out a little more aggressiveness, or above all showing him that Eddie isn't unimportant in the least, no matter what Eobard might say.
About a possible scenario to bring them together, let's see, maybe a fix-it where Eddie actually comes back to life when the next alternate timeline gets generated by The Flash? Eddie and Julian would interact a lot both at the precinct and Star Labs. Or maybe it could be set during Season 1 in an AU where Julian arrives quite a bit earlier? Or a different scenario would be great too.

Eddie/Leonard: Okay, this ship appeals to me for so many reasons! Like I already mentioned my favorite ship dynamics are most often when the partners are very different or even opposed in some respects. Eddie and Leonard totally fit this description. On one hand, we have Leonard saying that he doesn't do touchy feely (though deeply loving the very few people he allows himself to love), acting distant and hating being on the lawful side, and on the other hand we have Eddie, who has no issues with letting someone know when he loves them, who's warm and caring, and an officer of the law. Sounds like it would be a perfect, very messy and deeply dysfunctional pairing, where both them should definitely reach compromises and turn a blind eye to some stuff concerning their lover, or, on some occasions, try to make them be a little more like them. :)
A possible scenario I'd enjoy might be an alternate timeline, where Leonard and Eddie get/are together in a world where Eddie's still alive, and as a detective, what if he's personally in charge of apprehending the Rogues? So it could be an Identity Porn story where Leonard meets Eddie in some gay bar and they start to see each other (a lot) until when Eddie learns Leonard's real identity? Or else Eddie could be aware of Leonard's criminal ways all along. But any other plot idea would be great too!

Leonard/Wally: Ooh, I'd adore reading this! I'd love a criminal mentor/student kind of dynamic/scenario. Maybe it could be a canon-divergent AU, where Wally's mom never tries to fix things between Joe and her and when she dies Wally has no one left and turns to illegal races and other danger-related activities? Then enter Snart, who finds and saves him when he sees that Wally is in danger of ruining his own life? Is it that maybe he sees a younger self in Wally and wants to help? I don't know, but I'd totally adore it if you made this ship happen, and them going from mentor/student to lovers, with optionally unsolved emotional constipation, because Leonard doesn't do touchy feelness? I'm also totally cool whether or not Wally gets his super-powers at some point. For this pairing, I totally dig the age differential. I'm also open to different ideas (that is why Identity Porn is one of the tags), this is just what I came up with off the top of my head, but I'll be thrilled with another scenario. :)

HR/Wally: I blame the show for making me ship it, when everybody was shutting down Wally harshly and then along comes H.R., who offers to help the boy instead and Wally's reaction to that is one of the most adorable things, as if H.R. had just given him the moon. For the two of them as a pairing, I'd like a similar take to Leonard/Wally as described above, with a solid mentor/student dynamic in play, that becomes more than that when sex enters the scene. There can totally be a lot of shame/guilt involved due to the age differential too, and maybe them trying hard to hide their relationship from everybody else, in fear of their judgment? This is only what I came up with, but I'll be thrilled with another scenario too. :)


If there's sex, I'm OK with any bottom/top and dom/sub configuration for Eddie/Julian and Leonard/Eddie, but I'd prefer Wally bottoming, if it's OK? Anyway different top/bottom configurations would be fine, if my preference doesn't work with your story idea.

Maybe part of the reason for not believe in soulmates is that he thought that if he were to have a soulmate, it should be someone more like him, or maybe he doesn't believe that he deserves a soulmate, but plot or/and his soulmate prove him wrong eventually. I Do Love (general): any kind of shippy fic about my pairings, though especially first times. ♥ I’m also a sucker for slow burn and all the hurt/comfort scenarios, especially when the character is (or both them are) put through the wringer! I love when sexy-times happen as a misguided means of coping with the hurt, of the psychological kind especially, like past torture or non-con for example. I enjoy canon compliant fic as well as divergent canon AUs.

My favorite takes of soulbonds/soulmates tropes are: all the bonds are permanent, bonds require bondmates' forced proximity to feel fine, denial of feelings and later learning to cope/accept they are bond mates and making the best of their situation, or learning at a later point that when they let themselves enjoy it and put aside embarrassment or pride or whatever, it is totally worth it. Many of my favorite ships have dysfunctional dynamics after all.


Lando is the common denominator, so I'd like either the focus on him especially, or on all the partners and their relationship. Please, for my threesomes no v-shaped relationships, I'd really prefer all the partners being in love with each other, whether or not one/two of them does or doesn't feel like to admit their feelings to themselves or the other partner(s).


Here are some prompts, feel free to mesh them up or ignore if you have another idea already for your story:

Freaking Out After Soulbonding/Refusing To Admit That You're Each Other's Soulmates: Some denial of feelings shenanigans before the happy ending, is always welcome. ♥

Sharing your Soulmate with Non-Soulmate(s): For my threesomes, where all of them love each other and want to be together, but only two are soulmates. I’d like some angst, where the non-soulmated partner (Lando, maybe?) tries to step back and let the other two to be happy, and then the happy resolution.

Soulbond as a Medical Condition: Society has a cynic approach to soulbonds, instead of thinking of it as fate or mystic stuff, people who imprint on one another aren't considered as they have found their perfect match, but as they have contracted an illness of some sort, and every aspect resulting from the bonding (telepathy, empathy, shared pain or injuries, etc) is treated as such. Maybe the requested ship don't want to consider themselves as ill regardless of the common knowledge, but as people who were lucky to find their match anyway? Soulbonding Causes Need to Mate: It can be very embarrassing! The first time they touch each other, even through layers of stuff, and it’s... when they’re wearing a space suit and are making maintenance work on the Raza? Or are in a fist fight in the mess hall, or a space station, together with everybody else? Or, where are they?

Soulbond Requires Physical Proximity: This is naughty trope as well. :) Maybe the bonded couple can't get separated ever, or they can be but require a few daily hours of close proximity, or one daily hour of continuous touching to be healthy/alive, and so on.

Soulmate's Kiss Can Cure All Wounds: maybe their enemy captures them both and tortures one while unaware that the other prisoner is their soulmate? Maybe unhurt hero can’t kiss their soulmate yet, in fear that it would be make things even worse (as in to make it easier for the supervillain to torture his soulmate at will?). Or, a different idea could be them unaware to be soulmates, pining!character kisses dying!character (or pining!character is also the dying character?) and surprise! Dying!character is healthy again, his fatal injuries rapidly/instantly heal. What happens after?

Soulmates Die If They Don't Have Sex: My take of the tag is, soulmates die if they don't have REGULAR sex after they have found each other. Especially delightful if there's denial of feelings (or of sexuality) going on on either or both parties. :)

Soulmates Feel Each Other's Pain and Pleasure: This can have naughty takes. For instance, they finding to be soulmates when one gets tortured, their capturers are unaware, or try to take advantage of it? What happens after? Or else, one being in pain and the other one going and finding him to relieve the pain? One of them being aware when the other is pleasuring himself surprise? The other one unsure whether to reveal the fact to their soulmate or being just embarrassed to be privy to how many times their soulmate does that? Or it can be any other idea, I don't mind.

Waking Up Soulbonded After a Night Out: The soulbond version of wake up married trope, I'd love that, especially if there are complications before the happy/hopeful ending (characters freaking out, being in denial about their sexuality or feelings, external to the ship complications, etc.).

You Can't Die As Long As Your Soulmate Is Alive: an angsty prompt: even through excruciating torture, he won’t die. Happy ending please (as in rescue, possibly recovery too?). Or else, it can be that Wally’s super-fast healing and super-slow aging are transferred to John. Or maybe John is fatally shot and left to die on a desert place, waits to die and all he can do is to think and suffer, but death never comes, rescue does though. What if this is how he realize to have a soulmate (maybe soulmates are rare?) and wants to find who is them (or already has a inkling?)
